Returns & Exchanges

The Cake Guru will replace any damaged, faulty or wrongly supplied product as per the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

A refund of the product in question can also be arranged if an acceptable replacement cannot be found.

We may need to ask for the product to be returned to us so that we can then pass it on to our supplier, in this instance reasonable postage costs will be reimbursed if arranged with us in advance.

If an item you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you and either arrange a suitable alternative or refund the cost of that item.

If the product you receive is not what you expected then under the Distance Selling Regulations The Cake Guru will refund the cost of the product as long as it is returned unused, unopened and undamaged.

If the product was originally bought with free shipping (ie the total order came to over £50) and it’s return brings the total cost of sales to below £50 then shipping charges will be deducted from the refund total.

Edible goods, food contact goods, cut ribbon and special order items cannot be returned. Any issues with bespoke items must be reported to us upon receipt of the item.

All returns and exchanges must be notified to us within 7 days and received by us with 14 days.
